The kids loved this pond AND the little frog planks that the gardener had put in the pond to help liberate all the frogs that jump in and can't ever jump out without assistance!
Exactly.
It's tradition that we see a snake at Ladew!

A friend had posted on instagram THAT MORNING a photo of white wisteria and I had remarked that I had never seen that color and BOOM! A white wisteria tree at Ladew!
Liz in all of her radiant glory.
Liz has always been a great friend but this trip truly proved her love and endurance as MY friend. She let me put Sloane in her stroller after Tabitha didn't want a ride anymore and I was tired of carrying Sloane. I had put my camera on the stroller and at some point it fell off and hit Tabitha in the face. ugh. I felt so badly about it. After we were done at the garden I had to pump so Liz entertained the kids while I awkwardly pumped in the front seat. Sloane had been sleeping but she eventually woke up crying while I was pumping so naturally Liz got her and cared for her. Once we were on the road and solidly stuck in BW traffic, Maeve decided she had to go pee and there was no where for me to stop! Maeve's cries were becoming more desperate and I just didn't know what to do! Finally Liz crawled into the back of the van and helped Maeve pee into a cup! I ask--is there a more kind and loving act from a friend? I was in awe of her and so grateful she was there. Not only is she interesting and witty--she's kind and quick to help and solve problems. The best kind of friend. I'm happy to report that she is still my friend after all of this and even went on a few more adventures with me. I hope for more to come!
