Before my girl Brit moved away forever, we wanted to take a trip and since neither of us had ever been to Falling Water it was the PERFECT destination. We went on the most beautiful May day and had the most exquisite drive between the weather, the scenery, the music and the friendship. It was absolute perfection. Brit was prepared with music (new Radiohead AND Beyonce, plus more) and treats while I drove! We started with drinks at Sonic and had the BEST time talking and enjoying the waning moments of our time together in the DC area.
It seems so rare for a friendship to be born so easily and it seems cruel that it should be taken so quickly too. Ugh. I hate how easily the DC area attracts incredible people and just as easily pushes them away.
We stayed in Cumberland, MD and man did we spend our time right! We explored the area surrounding the hotel a bit then found a wood fired pizza place for dinner then hit the hot tub then just ENJOYED the peace and quiet of our hotel room. It was amazing.
